Automated processing of payment transactions and retrieval of up-to-date transaction statuses.
A transaction is processed automatically: validation of its parameters, route selection, delivery to the payment infrastructure and the return of a status to the partner happen in one cycle, with no manual steps on the MONTRA side.
An important distinction: what happens in real time is the processing of the transaction and the update of its status. How quickly funds reach the recipient is determined by the settlement participant and the rules of its jurisdiction, so MONTRA makes no promises about crediting times.
The partner sees the state of the transaction at every step and receives its final status — that is precisely the subject of the service.
