Cross-Border
Technological routes for P2P transactions between the available markets of the MONTRA network.
A cross-border direction differs from a domestic one not in technology but in the number of participants: an organisation from another jurisdiction, with its own regulation, joins the chain. MONTRA describes that chain in full and is accountable for the information layer within it.
The company has no licences of foreign regulators: in each jurisdiction transactions are carried out by organisations licensed in that jurisdiction. The list of available directions is determined by the agreements in force with participants, not by the company’s intentions.
Before a direction is connected, the partner receives the composition of its route participants and the dispute resolution procedure for it — before signing, not after.
